eHow.com Can Save You Money

With the economy as bad as it is, more of us are keeping our things (ie., cars, lawnmowers, etc.) longer and repairing them instead of purchasing a new item. Another way to save even more money is to do the repairs yourself.

You may already know how to change your car's oil, or perhaps even your lawnmower/ snowblower's as well. If you need a refresher or are learning from scratch, eHow.com (formerly expertvillage.com) is a great tutorial website. The videos are free to view and you can search for virtually any how-to.

How to Fix a Running Toilet -- powered by eHow.com

This weekend I repaired two lawn mowers. I had never changed the oil in one, let alone perform repairs. I went to eHow.com, searched for my quest, and I not only changed the oil, I also learned how to clean the carburator and re-wind the pull cord.

Is there anything you need to repair, but do not have the know-how to get it done, nor do you have the money? Try searching for 'repairing tv' or 'how to repair drywall' or 'how to repair broken eye-glass frame'....the list is virtually endless.
